Nick is a practicing Barrister, Solicitor, and Notary Public for Newfoundland and Labrador.

He graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Earth Sciences, a minor in Math, and a Bachelor of Education.Â

After teaching in Hopedale, Labrador City, and St. John’s, and serving as a teacher volunteer for numerous extracurriculars, he went on to complete a Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law.

At Dalhousie, Nick was actively involved in the legal community, particularly as Coordinator for the Labour Standards Appeals Project through Pro Bono Dalhousie, President of the Dalhousie Law Hiking Society, and in representing Dalhousie Law at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition. During law school summers, he worked with a busy Nova Scotia real estate firm, and with an employment non-profit and legal aid clinic. Nick is a two-time recipient of the Schulich Scholarship for academic excellence and public service.

Nick maintains a broad practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Criminal Defence, Wills and Estates, Personal Injury, Employment & Labour, Real Estate, Administrative Law, and Corporate & Commercial Law.

Outside of the office, Nick enjoys hiking, canoe camping, cross country skiing, board games, and reading.
