Jamie’s practice includes corporate commercial law and civil litigation, including personal injury law. He has appeared before all levels of court in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and before the Supreme Court of Canada. He has served as an adjudicator for numerous administrative tribunals and has completed the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada Income Tax Practice Course. Jamie is a Master and Taxing Officer of the Supreme Court.
When not practicing law, he spends time with family and friends, usually outdoors. He is an intensely competitive individual who coaches and competes in cross-country skiing. He also believes in giving back to his community and has served as a Bencher of the Law Society and as a National Section Chair for the Canadian Bar Association.
